Newly constituted University Council of MedUni Vienna emphasises the outstanding significance of science

University The new University Advisory Board of MedUni Vienna elected Peter Husslein as its fifth member during the constituent meeting on 27 March 2023. Eva Dichand, who already held this office in the previous term, was unanimously elected Chairperson of the central governing body for the 2023-2028 term. Thomas Zeltner is again the vice-chair. Media Manager Eva Dichand is a graduated economist and manages the daily newspaper "Heute". Peter Husslein is a Professor for Gynaecology and was Chief of the University Clinic for Gynaecology of MedUni Vienna at the University Hospital Vienna for many years. Thomas Zeltner is the President of the WHO foundation (Geneva) and was the Head of the Swiss Federal Office for Health from 1991-2009. The other members of the University Council are the former Vienna Patent Solicitor Sigrid Pilz and Christoph Huber, former Director of the III.
