In her office on the ground floor, Karin Weinberger - the contact person for all questions concerning staff mobility - advises a TU Graz colleague who is interested in a stay abroad.
International students can support TU Graz researchers in projects and thus gain insights into everyday research life at our university. Lena Neureiter advises you on opportunities to involve students in the OverSEAs Internship/Research Programme at your institute.
The International Office - Welcome Center team arrive for a meeting in the meeting room on the ground floor. This offers space for up to 16 people and is equipped with a video conferencing system. TU Graz staff can book the room if needed, just send a request to international @tugraz.at.
Lunch break in the International House garden together with colleagues from the Higher Education and Programme Development and the Personnel Department. The garden is open to all TU Graz employees and students during the opening hours of International House.
In her office on the top floor, Andrina Dolin¨ek , Unite! project coordinator, is preparing the trip of a TU Graz delegation to Wroclaw. Nine partner universities are working on the future development of the European higher education area within the framework of the university alliance Unite! And by the way, the 9th Unite! dialogue for personal exchange will take place from 27 to 29 February 2024 at TU Graz.
Barbara Böttger is leading an intercultural awareness session with incoming students in the seminar room on the top floor. TU Graz staff can also book this room, which is equipped with a flipchart and video projector and is suitable for events with up to 20 participants.
The Welcome Center supports international employees and students, guests as well as their host institutes even before their arrival in Graz and during their stay. Jasmin Hus takes advantage of the good weather to hold a personal consultation on a relaxing balcony on the 1st floor.
TU Graz has cooperation agreements with 200 universities worldwide, and mutual cooperation is particularly close in six strategic partnerships. Pictures on the top floor show where these universities are located. Elisabeth Meßner (left) is in charge of Erasmus+ cooperation, Kerry John (right) is responsible for student mobility - there is a lively exchange with the partner institutions.

In the evenings, International House is a popular venue for events, such as the regular salsa workshops with Sergio for international staff and students. Austrians who would like to try out the dance steps are also cordially invited to the open evening for all TU Graz employees on 16th November. Please register in advance since there are a limited number of places!
About International HouseInternational House not only houses the offices of the International Office - Welcome Center and Higher Education and Programme Development, but also the relaxing lounge and large garden invite you to linger. Here you can get a taste of international flair and make contacts from Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 17.00. TU Graz employees can book seminar rooms for their own meetings or events.
