The new issue of Crossroads

The new issue of Crossroads has just been published. It contains first research results of our project "Seafaring, Trade and Knowledge Transfer", sponsored by the Gerda Henkel Foundation. As part of the MORE programme of Austrian universities, 40 asylum seekers and recognized refugees participated in German language courses at the Language Centre of the University of Salzburg. The end of the semester celebration included a small buffet. The programme will be continued in the summer term. In addition, a series of workshops for volunteers will be introduced to continue linguistic support to those who qualify.
