Summer School Villach
End of August Infineon Austria und TU Wien host a summer school for TU master students. The application deadline is June 30, 2016. From August 29 to September 2 2016, Summer School Villach on "Fundamentals and Trends in Microelectronics" takes place for the first time at Infineon in Villach. Both the Faculty of Technical Chemistry and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and IT contribute essential lectures. Dean Herbert Danninger sees a lot of potential in the Summer School Villach: "For the Faculty of Technical Chemistry, attendants have the chance to experience the full spectrum of cooperation between Infineon and TU Wien. Master students have the opportunity to develop and substantiate possible master thesis topics. Colleagues already working with Infineon get the chance of looking outward into new working areas." Industry meets Academia - Infineon Austria provides insight in own developments as well as its location in Villach.
