The ultimate goal of the Master's programme is to find solutions where others don't know where to turn! Leading to a Master of Science degree, the new English-language study programme Safety and Disaster Management provides access to students from all disciplines with an interest in process and plant safety, natural hazards and disaster management. Plain and simple, only when as many professional fields as possible are united in an interdisciplinary nature can safety be viewed systemically and holistically, generating the maximum added value for our society. Learning crisis management from the bottom up. No one becomes a crisis manager overnight. Rather, the path to becoming one goes hand in hand with a personal development process in the course of which one learns to maintain the ability to reflect in critical situations and thus make adequate decisions.
