Starting Monday, February 2, several service points will be set up on campus for personal password resets.
Due to the security incident , the passwords of all students and employees of TU Wien were reset on January 30, 2026.
Students and employees with ID Austria can perform this process themselves.
Employees without ID Austria should contact their address manager.
On site, changes can only be made with photo ID at the CIT Service Center during the following opening hours

- Monday, 2. February, 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
- Tuesday, 3. February, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- Wednesday, 4. February, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
- Thursday, 5. February, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- Friday, 6. February, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
What do I need to bring with me?
Please bring your valid TUcard or other official photo ID.
For URGENT cases, the CIT Service Center will be open on Saturday, January 31, 2026, until 4 pm and on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 9 am to 12 pm.
