In the course of a tendering process lasting several months, Energie Steiermark has been awarded the contract by Graz University of Technology (TU Graz) for the installation, operation and billing of e-charging infrastructure. The order currently represents the Styrian energy and infrastructure company's largest customer project in the field of charging infrastructure. TU Graz currently employs around 4,000 staff and has more than 13,700 students. At the three campus locations Alte Technik, Neue Technik and Inffeldgasse, the current charging possibilities will be successively expanded to up to 200 parking spaces with charging infrastructure for employees by 2030. This contribution to a CO2-neutral mobility chain is one of several measures by which TU Graz will become a climate-neutral university by 2030.
