Jeroen Dewulf, Professor of German Studies at the University of Berkeley, is currently a guest at the Stefan Zweig Center. Dewulf received the Stefan Zweig Fellowship, awarded once a year by the provincial capital Salzburg in cooperation with the Stefan Zweig Center.
Professor Jeroen Dewulf
Er studierte in Gent, Porto und Bern, publiziert in fünf Sprachen und ist zurzeit Professor an der Universität Berkeley in Kalifornien, wo er auch das Berkeley Institute of European Studies leitet. Zu seinen Forschungsgebieten zählen u.a. hölländische und portugiesischsprachige postkoloniale, europäische und insbesondere die Schweizer Literatur. In mehreren Studien beschäftigt er sich auch mit Stefan Zweigs Beziehung zu Brasilien.
Stefan Zweig - Stipendium
In Erinnerung an Stefan Zweig vergibt die Landeshauptstadt Salzburg in Kooperation mit dem Stefan Zweig Centre einmal pro Jahr das Stefan Zweig-Stipendium. Bewerben können sich Personen, die Forschungsprojekte verwirklichen, die entweder einen direkten Bezug zu Stefan Zweig haben oder in die Jahresarbeit des Stefan Zweig Centres in Salzburg passen. Geboten wird neben Wohnmöglichkeit und Stipendium eine Zusammenarbeit mit dem Stefan Zweig Centre.
