On 14 April, visitors in the library auditorium personally experienced the "Noch First Lady", Margit Fischer. In her book "Was wir weitergeben", she offers insights into the political events while at the side of her husband, President Heinz Fischer.

Darüber hinaus erzählte sie aus ihrer Kindheit in Schweden, dem Land, das ihren Eltern Schutz vor den Nationalsozialisten bot und ihr zur zweiten Heimat wur­de und über ihre Jugendjahre im Wien der Nachkriegszeit. Ihre Erinnerungen sind ein Stück Zeitgeschichte, ihre Gedanken zur Gegen­wart machen nachdenklich. Eine spannende und kurzweilige Stunde und ein Plädoyer für soziale Gerechtigkeit und Zusammenhalt.

From 27 to 29 April, Literature Archive Salzburg will hold the 20th session of the Austrian Literature Archive (KOOP-Litera Austria). On this occasion, a joint exhibition shows insights into the holdings of the archives. The exhibition will open on 27 April at 19:00 at the Literature Archive Salzburg, 9/2 Residenzplatz (access through Kapitelgasse 5-7) and can be seen from 2 May to 3 June.
