In Year of the Monkey, this year for the 18th time, the "China Know-How" Summer School will be held (12 August - 10 September, 2016). Within the framework of the China Center of the University of Salzburg, in cooperation with the Eurasia-Pacific Uninet, up to 50 participants can spend a month in China.

Die an der Fudan Universität in Shanghai sowie an der Peking Universität abgehaltene Sommerschule bietet österreichischen bzw. europäischen Studierenden und WissenschaftlerInnen aller Fachrichtungen, aber auch MitarbeiterInnen von international agierenden Firmen eine kulturelle, gesellschaftliche und wirtschaftliche Einführung in das heutige China.

Die Sommerschule gibt unter anderem Einblicke in Themengebiete der Kultur, Politik, Recht, Wirtschaft, und interkulturellen Kommunikation. Teil des vielfältigen Programms sind auch Besuche von internationalen Joint-Venture Firmen sowie Sightseeing Programme und Exkursionen in der Umgebung. Chinesisch-Kenntnisse sind nicht erforderlich, da das Programm in englischer Sprache abgehalten wird.
