Alexander Pinwinkler präsentiert in der Ausstellung bislang unbekannte Quellendokumente aus dem Leben des bedeutenden Salzburger Benediktiners P. Thomas Michels OSB. Die Ausstellung thematisiert die Problemfelder "Benediktinermönch und Gelehrter", "Flucht und Exil in den USA" sowie "Kultur, Gesellschaft, Politik". Sie leistet damit einen Beitrag zur Kulturund Zeitgeschichte Salzburgs im transnationalen Kontext.
