Research Assistant 50% (m/f/d)

The University of Liechtenstein offers you a unique professional and private environment. The Institute of Information Systems connects core issues of economics such as organisational design and business process management with modern technical solutions from computer science, for example, data science and artificial intelligence. The Hilti Chair for Data and Application Security deals in this interdisciplinary context with various research issues in the field of IT security, especially in the detection ans mitigation of new types of attacks. The Chair also offers a diverse teaching and continuous education portfolio. Through close collaboration with regional industry and intensive contacts to international research partners, we offer our students and employees an excellent position for further professional development.

Description

Your core tasks are the implementation of research and transfer projects as well as the participation in teaching of courses in our Master’s degree programme "Information Systems". The following fields are of particular interest for our research agenda:
  • Security monitoring and management
  • Security incidenr respoinse
  • Cyberthreat intelligence

The position offers you a possibility to pursue doctoral study at the University of Liechtenstein.

Requirements

Requirements are an excellent MSc university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a comparable course of study, as well as excellent methodical and practical knowledge in the fields of IT Security and/or machine learning. We expect from the candidate a high level of motivation, individual responsibility, creativity and team spirit, as well as a passion for academic work and the willingness to achieve top performance in research.
