Research Engineer, Signal

RD_1_1907 Innsbruck, Austria Main Tasks - Research and/or further develop signal processing algorithms for the clinical fitting of a new line of medical devices using novel video-based objective measures - Deploy algorithms in a research software that can be used by external stakeholders in pre- clinical patient trials - Actively participate in design and architecture definition for the overall device fitting workflow - Document algorithms and disseminate to other groups within MED-EL - Collaborate with Project Leaders in R&D to incorporate new methods into a final product Requirements - Degree level or higher qualification in related technical, clinical or medical sciences - Excellent skills in signal processing; additional experience in image processing is a plus - Programming skills in one or more languages (e.g. C/C++/MATLAB/Python/LabVIEW) - Research experience (e.g. Masters/PhD) is an advantage - Good verbal and written English skills, communicative personality and independent and accurate approach and willingness to work in an agile team Salary will be determined based on professional experience; the formal minimum salary according .154,72.
