September 2023, 09:00 - 18:00 The Chair of Turkish Studies at the University of Vienna invites researchers from all over the world working in the fields of history, linguistics, philology, literary studies, social sciences, anthropology, and political sciences in Turkey and the Turkic world to participate in the Fourth European Convention on Turkic, Ottoman and Turkish Studies (Turkologentag 2023). The conference will take place on September 21 - 23, 2023 at the University of Vienna. It is organized in co-operation with GTOT e.V. (Society for Turkic, Ottoman and Turkish Studies). The conference aims to bring together individual scholars, institutions and organizations from Europe and elsewhere who are engaged in Turkish and Turkic Studies. The four-day event will provide an opportunity for an intellectual exchange and conversation between participants and allow them to build networks for future cooperation. There will be a special forum for PhD candidates and graduate students.
