Vienna More than 500 scientists from six universities and one university of applied sciences are offering a total of 345 courses for 3,500 children aged 7 to 12 - this is the formula for the Vienna Children’s University 2024. From 8-19 July, children can once again attend workshops, seminars and lectures at all participating universities: the University of Vienna, TU Wien, BOKU Wien, WU Wien, the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna and FH Campus Wien - and, of course, MedUni Vienna!
The varied program allows children to take a look at different subjects at the participating universities and is scientifically diverse: from architecture to economics, from health to nature to animals, from languages and cultures to history.
From July 15-19, a total of 55 courses at MedUni Vienna invite interested parties to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of medicine.
There will also be an exciting supporting program : the AKH fire station at University Hospital Vienna will be presenting itself (15 and 16 July). And in the teddy bear hospital, specially trained "teddy doctors" will treat stuffed animals brought along with the children’s help. This gives the children an insight into visits to the doctor and hospital situations.
