One semester before the end of the learning survey with the app QUINN, the team of the Center for Strategic Teaching Development was on tour through the TU campuses and provided insights into the current data status. Subsequently, the interim results were made available to all TU Wien members on the TU Wien website.
The data collected by thousands of anonymous students in QUINN since winter semester 2019 could be viewed directly by students from March 14 to 22 as part of the "QUINN on Tour" presentation. During this info tour, the team of the Center for Strategic Teaching Development was able to give hundreds of interested students direct insight into the detailed data of the individual courses and gain valuable supplementary information on studyability at TU Wien in discussions. In addition, many of the collected values could be validated by the students on site.
After the tour, the QUINN team was happy to welcome almost 200 new users of the QUINN app and several thousand new data sets that were submitted within the next 2 weeks. Every single dataset helps to improve our datasets which the TU Wien can then use to improve the studyability.
All students and interested parties who did not have the opportunity to take a direct look at the detailed data together with the QUINN team of the Center for Strategic Teaching Development in March will have the next chance to do so after the summer semester 2023 and the survey has been completed: Then another "QUINN on Tour" will take place to report on the results of the survey, the data and what will happen with it. An invitation will be sent out as soon as the details of the tour are clear.
Until then, we - the QUINN team of the Center for Strategic Teaching Development - are happy and thankful about every student who uses his QUINN app intensively and thus provides us with valuable data for the improvement of studyability and ECTS equity at the TU Vienna. Thank you very much!
