A look behind the scenes of the fuTUre fit working groups

The ten working groups of the fuTUre fit strategy development process have used the non-lecture period productively and started their work on their issues. On October 1st 2024, the group leaders and Rectorate met at the Mid-Term event to present the initial status quo.

A lot is happening regarding the fuTUre fit process. From phase 1 (the listening phase) we moved into phase 2, which began in mid-summer, where ten working groups started to focus intensively on the strategically important issues, assigned by the Rectorate, in regular meetings, fishbowls and panel discussions to draw up initial results. A first insight was provided at the Luftpavillon on October 1 2024.

All members are very committed and motivated. They are looking forward to the next few weeks and the further course of the fuTUre fit process.

These are the ten working groups and their issues

The working groups consist of lecturers, researchers, committee representatives, students and administrative staff at TU Wien and each issue is formulated as a "Why?" question.

Further information on the working groups, their members and issues can be found on the fuTUre fit website.

What happens next?

The fuTUre fit Convention Days, scheduled for November 18th to 20th, will conclude this phase by offering all the members of TU Wien the opportunity to learn about the results of the working groups and engage in a discussion of the fascinating questions.

Further details on the event will follow shortly via invitation and on the fuTUre fit website. Please stay tuned for more information.

A big thank you to everyone involved in the project for their commitment to the fuTUre fit process so far!
