For the safety and protection of all of us, TU Wien has taken various measures.
Access: From June 22, there are no more access restrictions at the TU Wien. Admission is the sole responsibility of the managers, employees and students of the TU Wien. The safety and protection requirements known to ensure the health of all persons working at the TU Wien (current version at colab.tuwien.ac.at/x/95Wx ), in particular the minimum safety distance and the hygiene requirements, must be observed in any case by all members of the TU Wien. The separation of entrances and exits in the buildings will remain in place until further notice.
Teaching and Examinations: Since 2 June 2020, in addition to the online examinations, attendance examinations are again held at Wien - in compliance with the necessary security measures. The guidelines for students and lecturers can be found at colab.tuwien.ac.at/x/DAXo
The grace period for the 2020 summer semester has been extended to June 30, 2020.
Research: Since 2 June, it has been possible to return to work, the safety and protection requirements apply. Details are available after login. Further information can be found at colab.tuwien.ac.at/x/hoF8#CORONAInformation-Forschung.
Labour law: FAQs for employees (home office, time off, holidays, childcare etc.) can be found on the intranet.
Business trips: In general, it is recommended to postpone decisions on business trips until further notice or to take other options (e.g. "virtual" participation in meetings).
Before a business trip is planned, it should be checked whether it is really necessary or whether there are other possibilities. It should be noted that presence meetings (also at other organisations) should still be avoided. In any case, the regulations of the leaflet " Informationen on Business Trips " apply.
